PAID DApp Update — All The Things We’ve Been Up To So Far
We have been working nonstop in 2021, delivering one of the most successful token launches of the year so far in PAID, as well as securing commitments from a host of top-tier projects to launch on Ignition. However, our technical team has also been hard at work to deliver on the technical roadmap for 2021 and beyond. We wanted to take this opportunity to provide an update on both the exciting progress we have made and look ahead to what we are currently working on.
Making PAID Network available to all
The rise of Binance Smart Chain in recent weeks has dominated headlines. However, we have always committed to supporting multiple protocols, with our DApp being built on both Polkadot and Ethereum. We have also begun supporting Binance Smart Chain, and we have recently completed creating the PAID MVP DApp on the protocol. This means that any Binance Smart Chain user can use PAID Network for SMART Agreements in exactly the same way that Ethereum users currently can.
In addition to porting the MVP, we have also been building out additional features. These features include new abilities for decentralized peer-to-peer communication, enabling PAID members to communicate directly with one another. This is important, as it means user wallets can interact autonomously with one another which allows for real-time SMART Agreement updates, without the need for user interaction.
Building out the PAID Network DApp
We are focused on adding features including decentralized identities and are hoping to complete this in Q2. This will allow users to interact with the PAID DApp without the need for any login details. Each user will have a decentralized profile attached to their wallet, which avoids the need for username and password details.
We are also building out the MVP DApp across new protocols and systems including porting the DApp to Polkadot. We are also working to create the DApp on both Android and iOS. Again, this is expected to be completed during Q2.
Looking further ahead, we are working to deliver the v1.0 of PAID Network on Polkadot in Q3.
All of this is in addition to the launch of Ignition, and other elements previously outlined in our technical roadmap, ranging from full SMART Agreement negotiation functionality to token staking, reputation scores, and platform gamification features.
