Blockchain recognition has expanded quickly over the last year and is now entering the current zeitgeist becoming a buzzword in homes across the world. We are still however at the very beginning of blockchain adoption globally, mainly because of the lack of technological entry points for the masses. Today, Projects are finding more and more ways to utilize the technology to bring value and efficiency to people’s lives, bringing us closer to mass adoption. We at PAID Network believe that when the blockchain industry thrives, so does the PAID ecosystem. So here are a few projects within the crypto ecosystem that we believe are projecting the industry forward.

One of the biggest developments in crypto over the last year has been the rise of NFTs. All sorts of celebrities from Tom Brady to the Undertaker are looking for a way into the NFT market. Unique provides its users with everything they need to get involved in NFTs. It provides the means to mint NFTs, a marketplace to trade them, and a wallet to store them. Uniquely is built on Polkadot and all of its components are open source, allowing others to create solutions on top of each component. It also has many advanced features, including the ability to earn tokens for sponsoring freemium gaming and interoperability between Polkadot, Kusama, and Ethereum.

As the NFT world continues to boom more users will be searching for a service like Unique to provide everything they need to engage.

Fares on Drife are fixed based on the criteria of a pre-agreed smart contract, bringing the unequalled transparency allowed by blockchain to the ride sharing industry.

There is much controversy surrounding Uber and the difficulty that drivers have earning money on it. Utilizing the power of blockchain, Drife are offering a way for drivers to offer rides commission free, maximizing their own return.

Subsocial Network

Subsocial provides the framework for anyone to make their own personal, decentralized social network. Subsocial markets themselves as a decentralized version of Reddit where people can create their own “subreddits” in the form of social network sites. Built on Polkadot, the framework provides the means for any platforms created on it to be censorship-resistant.

Subsocial is offering an alternative to the current social media paradigm. Removing the centralized body controlling most sites means that there is more room for customization, monetization is fairer and the algorithms that control what we see are more transparent.
