What are synthetic products?
Synthetic products are custom-built asset classes created through contracts where investors do not have to own the underlying asset. For example, an individual can own Bitcoins or Ethereum without having a crypto wallet or invest in stocks without having a brokerage account. Their benefit is that they increase accessibility and flexibility for traders and investors and provide an efficient user experience that facilitates existing demand alongside allowing the creation of new markets in the form of IOUs that have not officially been launched yet.

Benefits of the Beyond Exchange platform
The Beyond exchange platform combines the usual Bid/Ask order book mechanisms with the automated market maker model. Although the exchange is fully decentralized, it can support advanced features found on centralized exchanges including limit orders, stop loss/take profit levels and leveraged trading.
Through the Beyond exchange platform, Users can access a wide range of assets, including FOREX currencies, commodities, cryptocurrencies (currently only BTC and ETH), derivatives and equities, without holding the actual assets. This can be achieved through a staking mechanism that allows a user to stake $BYN (Beyond’s native token) and invest in such assets, trade them, and provide loans in the form of Ethereum in exchange for synthetic assets that represent their investments. Additionally, users can stake BYN tokens without investing in secondary assets, which will allow them to benefit from rewards without being exposed to price volatility from market movements.
